MAIN FUNCTIONALITIES
BIM Explorer
Create and upload federated models by aggregating BIM models, views, documents and point clouds. Federated models can be created by phases, disciplines and approval states. Browse, measure, query federated models and create inquiries or request to solve problems through the standard BFC collaboration format.
BIM Manager Area
BIM managers can create projects. Configure the team, the federated models, the PBS and the document archive, profile the users in the Publish area and define the project deliverables.
Designers Area
Architects and engineers can create and update drawings, navigate federated models and view data based on the permissions assigned by the BIM manager.
Project Coordinators Area
The General contractor responsible for the design and the client’s technical manager can manage the Share area and the approval of the drawings.
Consultants Area
Clients, construction managers, safety coordinators can view the documents in the Publish area and receive automatic notifications in the event of a change in status.
Recipients Area
The client’s contacts, suppliers and figures outside the design team can easily consult and export the relevant BIM documents.
Request Management
Manage communications between team roles. Track requests for information and clarifications that are important for the progress of the project.
Available in the DESIGN version to collect the design and SITE documents, including those of construction.
CDE PIM Design supports the BIM manager in defining the executive plan (BEP). CDE PIM Site extends the Design functions to manage the construction phase and contribute to the creation of the digital file of the (AS-BUILT) work.
Geoweb Common Data Environment PIM complies with the UNI 11337 standard.
The system allows you to manage the model data (ACDAT) and the documents that make it up (ACDOC). And also manage the integrated navigation.
Thanks to the configurable tracks you can customize the approval flows of each document managed by the Geoweb platform.
Assign it to each professional involved in the process and define the progress of the document status.
Geoweb’s Common Data Environment platform allows you to federate models developed for different disciplines and filter them by status, if necessary.
You can also merge them to view them all directly and conveniently via the web browser.
Thanks to the integrated BIM viewer it is possible to browse the data in Building Information Model format directly through the web browser.
You can also consult the data of the objects, dissect the model and take measurements.
The system allows you to view vector CAD formats directly via the web browser.
You can view both the drawings deriving from the model and those not dependent on it. On the drawings you can measure distances, areas and manage technical prints.
Inside the BIM viewer you will be able to see the point clouds, also superimposed on the BIM model.
And easily upload them directly in standard formats from survey tools.
The request and notification management system is the ideal tool for exchanging information transparently with the entire team and simplifying the workflow.
You will thus be able to keep the formal evidence of the communications relating to the contract directly within the Geoweb platform.
